Gossypium herbaceum ssp. africanum (Wild South African Cotton)

100 (150)cm, Wild South African Cotton is a small perennial woody shrub from the northeastern part of southern Africa. Gossypium herbaceum ssp. africanum has lobed leaves and bright pale yellow flowers with a wine red inner eye, followed by relatively large seed capsules. For any rich, very well drained substrate in full sun throughout the year. In winter reduce watering to a minimum and keep plants at a minimum of some 20°C. V-IX.
